KARACHI: Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a man, who was wearing the uniform of Sindh police’s Special Security Unit (SSU), for stealing a motorbike in Defence Housing Authority.

“The police detained a fake policeman in uniform in Phase II,” said Darakshan ASP Rana Dilawar. The held suspect was trying to flee after stealing the motorbike. The police arrested him after receiving information on Madadgar-15.

The officer said that the suspect got police record as he had been arrested in Larkana and sent to prison.

He had committed crimes in police uniform, he said.
