Jason Momoa joins Fast & the Furious franchise

Aquaman actor Jason Momoa is set to appear in the next Fast & the Furious action movie. The plot details for F10 have not been disclosed, but Momoa is expected to play a villain and the shooting on the movie is expected to begin this spring.

F10 set for release May 19, 2023, it will star Vin Diesel, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez and Sung Kang.

The sequel follows 2021’s F9: The Fast Saga and the blockbuster’s director, Justin Lin, is returning to helm the 10th movie.

More wait for Wonder Woman video game

Warner Bros. and Monolith Productions (a subsidiary of WB) announced the upcoming Wonder Woman video game at the 2021 Game Awards.

But the game does not have a scheduled release date at this time. However, in looking at other upcoming Warner Bros. releases, it’s reasonable to believe the game won’t be receiving any special attention in 2022.

Warner Bros. has Gotham Knights, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and Hogwarts Legacy slated for 2022. We can expect to see Wonder Woman in 2023 or 2024. Wonder Woman will presumably release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC when it inevitably comes out.

Lord of the Rings series prequel revealed

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is the official title of Amazon’s next from the Lord of the Rings series.

The Rings of Power is a prequel series to The Lord of the Rings book trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien. The series takes place in the Second Age of Middle-earth, thousands of years before the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.

“Beginning in a time of relative peace, the series follows an ensemble cast of characters, both familiar and new, as they confront the long-feared re-emergence of evil to Middle-earth,” an official synopsis reads.

Season 1 was filmed in New Zealand and will premiere September 2 on Amazon Prime Video. Season 2 will begin production in the United Kingdom this year.
