NORTH WAZIRISTAN: The police claimed to have recovered an abducted resident of Quetta during a raid here on Sunday.

A senior police official said Mirwais Khan, a resident of Kharotabad locality of Quetta, was kidnapped from Spinwam area of North Waziristan on Jan 27.

He told mediapersons in Miramshah, the district headquarters, that the police cordoned off a suspected location in the area, and safely recovered the kidnapped person along with his vehicle.

The official did not provide further details about the raid and as to who was involved in the kidnapping of Quetta resident.
