LAHORE: The Lahore High Court on Monday granted post-arrest bail to four suspects in the case of assault on a woman TikToker at the Minar-i-Pakistan.

Justice Shehram Sarwar Chaudhry allowed the bail petitions of Amir Sohail alias Rambo, the main team member of the TikToker Ayesha Akram, and three others, subject to furnishing surety bonds worth Rs100,000 each.

Police had accused the suspects of blackmailing and assaulting the TikToker, in connivance with the prime suspect, Rambo.

Lorry Adda police had registered the first information report (FIR) against 400 unidentified persons for assaulting, molesting and stripping the complainant.

The police later arrested Ms Akram’s team associate Rambo after she accused him of blackmailing her.

In his media statements, Rambo alleged actually it was the TikToker who had been blackmailing him. He had alleged the TikToker implicated him in the FIR after he rejected her idea of minting money from those arrested in the case.
