KOHAT: Three persons were killed and one was injured when gunmen ambushed two motorcycles here on Monday.

The Junglekhel police said Syed Akbar of Naway Kallay and Barkat Ali of Muhammadzai were going to the Afghan refugee camp in Ghamkol when four armed men opened fire on their motorcycle. As a result, Akbar died on the spot, while Barkat sustained injuries. A pedestrian, Daulat Khan, an Afghan refugee, was also killed in the firing.

The wounded man nominated Azmat Khan, Irshad, Rab Nawaz and Mohammad Zaman in the FIR. He said the assailants managed to escape after the incident.

In the second incident, unknown attackers fired at a motorcycle in Malangabad area, killing the rider, Sakhi Badshah.
