Hafeez, Ahmed rescue Faisalabad

LAHORE, Nov 28: An unbeaten century by opener Mohammad Hafeez and good batting by Ahmed Hayat enabled Faisalabad to gain first-innings lead over Multan in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy Gold League match at Multan Cricket Stadium on Monday.

Hafeez (126, 13 fours) and Ahmed (71, six fours and two sixes) rescued their team with an unbroken seventh-wicket partnership of 175 as the visitors closed at 273 for six in reply to Multan’s 269.
