QUETTA: Four people were killed in an exchange of fire with Counter Terror­ism Department (CTD) personnel on Wednesday.

Officials said four people were killed and three personnel wounded in an exch­ange of fire with the CTD personnel when they conducted a raid at the house of one Sardar Lalo in a village on the outskirts of Zhob.

Heirs of the deceased, along with the bodies, blo­c­ked the Quetta-Dera Ismail Khan Highway suspending traffic between Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Zhob Deputy Commis­sio­ner said investigating was under way to ascertain facts.
