LAHORE: Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and PML-N President Shehbaz Sharif have paid tribute to the PAF.

The chief minister says the PAF fighter pilots had destroyed two Indian fighter planes and put down the arrogance of India on Feb 27, 2019. In a message on Sunday, he said, “The nation pays rich tributes to the valour and bravery of the Pakistan Air Force”.

The chief minister says the opposition is bringing no-trust move in their meetings only and this was nothing beyond a storm in a teacup. He stated that nation had no interest in no-trust motion. “People want progress and prosperity while the opposition is only putting hindrances to the course of advancement” he deplored.

In his message on the ‘Surprise Day’, Shehbaz said the Pakistan military made Feb 27 a proud and unforgettable day of the history of the country. God Almighty blessed Pakistan with a great victory on this day in 2019, he said.

The PML-N president said India jeopardised peace and security of South Asia and the world with its jingoistic aggression on Balakot, but with a measured response Pakistan showed that it was a responsible sovereign state.
