PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court, on the recommendation of its administration committee, has ordered promotion of 35 judicial officers, including eight additional district and sessions judges, 13 senior civil judges and 14 civil judges.

Separate notifications were issued by the PHC Registrar Inamullah Khan in this regard on Monday.

According to a notification, eight additional district and sessions judges (BPS-20) have been promoted as district and sessions judges (BPS-21). These judges include: Syed Asghar Shah, Wali Mohammad Khan, Ms Hina Khan, Ms Sumbal Naseer, Ali Gohar, Asad Ali, Ms Farzina Shahid and Ishtiaq Ali Haider.

The 13 senior civil judges (BPS-19) promoted as additional district and sessions judges (BPS-20) include: Abdul Salam Khan, Islamuddin, Qaiser Khan Afridi, Abdul Hassan Mohmand, Mohammad Ilyas Khan, Isa Khan, Adam Khan, Ms Shamsul Huda, Mohammad Sher Ali Khan, Inam Khan, Fazal Nasir Shah, Hussain Ali and Ms Haseena Saqlain.

Similarly, the 14 civil judges/judicial magistrates (BPS-18) promoted as senior civil judges (BPS-19) include: Omar Azmat Khan, Basharat Rauf, Mohammad Aaqib, Ziaul Hassan, Mohammad Asghar, Rehmatullah, Ms Farkhanda Nosheen, Mohammad Sohail, Aurangzeb, Sheraz Khan, Mohammad Haroon, Sardar Jawad Ahmad, Ms Rabia Abbasi and Ms Tahira Zainab Malik.
