ISLAMABAD: A teenage student of a religious seminary was stabbed to death by other students, police said on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Muzamil, 16, a native of Gilgit-Baltistan, the police said, adding that the incident took place at Madrasa Qasimia F-7/4.

Muzamil had a quarrel with another student, when he asked the student to avoid using foul language against a teacher, they said, adding that later the student along with two other attacked and beat him.

Shortly, the attackers stabbed him with knife and as a result he sustained critical injuries, the police said, adding that later he was shifted to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
