KARACHI: Around 150 women bikers took part in a motorcycle rally to mark the International Women’s Day.

The rally of women bikers was organised by the Dr Essa Laboratory in collaboration with Pakistan Rangers, Sindh and Karachi commissioner.

The event was aimed at giving women a sense of security outside the home.

Led by Dr Farhan Essa and Dr Nadia Farhan, the rally was welcomed by the director general of Sindh Rangers and his wife at the UBL Sports Complex in Federal B Area.

The Rangers chief appreciated the efforts of the organisers and emphasised on providing equal opportunities for women in all walks of life.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Nadia reiterated her support for the ongoing struggle for the rights of women and her commitment to providing equal employment opportunities to them in Dr Essa Lab.
