DADU: Beerani police arrested a man for killing his two wives and a three-year-old daughter at his house in Gul Mohammad Rind village near Tando Adam town on Saturday.

Police said that Riaz Rind exchanged hot words with his wives, Bilqis, 35, and Husna, 25, after he returned home from his farmland, and opened fire at them with a pistol in a fit of rage, killing them on the spot on Friday.

The three-year-old Kulsoom was hit when she ran to her mother, Husna, as she saw her mother oozing blood, said police.

Police brought the dead bodies to government hospital in Tando Adam, which were later handed over to relatives after autopsy.

Late Husna’s brother, Abdul Aziz, told reporters that besides Riaz Rind, his two brothers Imran and Mushtaq were also involved in the triple murder.

On Saturday, a police team led by Sanghar SSP Dr Farrukh Lanjar and SHO of Beerani police station conducted raids in the area and arrested the suspect, Riaz Rind.
