KARACHI: The All-Pakistan juniors and women squash satellite tournament reached the quarter-finals stage here at the PN Roshan Khan-Jahangir Khan Squash Complex on Thursday.

In contrast to other results, only two matches were stretched to limits in boys U-19 and U-15 events.

Humza Zahid struggled to beat Talha Iqbal 11-4, 9-11, 11-8, 9-11, 11-6 in 45 minutes to advance into last-eight in U-19 category.

Ubaidullah was home 11-5, 9-11, 11-6, 6-11, 11-5 against Rana Zohab in a 41-minute encounter to make his way into the boys U-15 quarters.

The other matches of the day remained one-sided affairs.
