SUKKUR: Accountabi­lity court Sukkur on Thursday extended period of the interim bail granted to two MNA of Pakistan Peoples Party, Abrar Shah and Manzoor Wassan, till May 17.

MNA Wassan appeared in the court while his colleague Abrar Shah did not arrive as he was in Islamabad attending session of National Assembly.

Counsels for both the MNAs submitted their applications to the court, seeking extension in the interim bails which were subsequently extended till May 17.

The MNAs, who faced charges of accumulating assets beyond their known sources of income, had earlier been granted interim bail.
