TDAP, EDB sign pact

ISLAMABAD: The Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) and the Engineering Development Board (EDB) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the promotion of engineering goods and the services sector at the domestic and international level.

According to a press release issued on Saturday, TDAP Secretary Ahsan Ali Mangi and EDB CEO Raza Abbas Shah signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations.

Both sides expressed a resolve to work towards the common goals of establishing linkages between Pakistan’s engineering sector and global engineering value chains. The MoU mandates to have an Annual Marketing Plan or calendar of activities for every financial year, which will be devised by a steering committee that will comprise of six members, half of which will be from each organisation. The plan will consist of exhibitions, seminars, B2B meetings and outbound and inbound business delegations.
