NAWABSHAH: Killed over karo-kari

NAWABSHAH, Dec 3: A young person was axed to death on the pretext of karo-kari in the society area here on Saturday. Karim Bux, 25, son of Mohammad Saleh Lakho, was killed by his relative, Nawab Lakho, with the help of Mohammad Ayub Lakho.

The killers managed to escape after the murder.

Sources said that Nawab had a suspicion that Karim Bux had illicit relations with his wife.

Ms Khanzadi, mother of the deceased, has lodged an FIR against the assailants at the A-section police station.

INJURY: Three persons were injured when a car collided with a truck on the National Highway near Qazi Ahmed on Friday.

Yasir, 22, Amir Hussain and Huzoor Bux, 45, were going to Karachi from Shikarpur when their car collided with a track coming from the opposite direction. They were taken to the People’s Medical College Hospital.—Correspondent
