KARACHI: The Hamdard Foundation Pakistan provided financial assistance to 204 students from underprivileged families under its “Shaheed-e-Pakistan Hakim Mohammed Said Memorial Scholarship programme”.
Over Rs10 million scholarships have been provided to the deserving students this year from all over Pakistan, including 153 students of all 26 matric boards, a statement issued here on Monday said.
It said each individual received Rs25,000, while 51 intermediate students from all over the country also got Rs50,000 each.
Hamdard Foundation president Sadia Rashid advised students to follow the footsteps of her late father Hakim Mohammed Said.
Sindh Information Minister Saeed Ghani said that Hamdard had been serving the nation in the fields of education and health.
