In those days, I used to live in Japan. I was nearly 30 years old then. I had a small flat in the city of Yokohama, which is in the south of Tokyo. The city is always busy.

I was on the train station leaving for Tokyo. There were many people around. Just then, a man approached me. I had a slight acquaintance with him, but I didn’t exactly remember where I met him before.

I asked, “Are you gonna visit Tokyo today?”

He replied, “Yes.”

I don’t know why I asked him, but I just sensed that he was going to Tokyo. It was a coincidence, I thought, as there were many trains leaving that day for different places.

The next day, someone in my relatives called to inform me that some parcel was coming to my doorsteps in an hour. I acknowledged and I waited until it arrived. I shook my hands with the postman and he gave me a box parcel.

It was unusual, but he asked me for a bottle of water.

I brought a bottle of water and handed him over and asked, “Are you going to the Tokyo tower?”

Surprisingly, the postman said “Yes.” He further asked about how I knew about it so I simply replied, “I don’t know, I just sensed it. Anyways, have a safe journey.” He smiled and left.

I still didn’t realise that I had a special power. Till one day, I got its confirmation.

I met an old lady, our neighbours, outside her house. She was dressed properly and was going somewhere by foot. I had a feeling that she was going to the graveyard.

I thought I should not ask her, but the feeling was so overwhelming that I couldn’t control and asked her, “Ma’am, has someone in your relatives passed away recently?”

She replied, “No dear!”

“Ohh, I am so sorry to disturb you. I just had a strange feeling,” I turned back to and went inside my house.

I kept thinking about that lady, and couldn’t rest the whole day. After I think two hours, when I was watching TV, mum came and told that our neighbour, the old lady has passed away.

My neighbouring old lady had a heart attack and succumbed to it and died. She was buried in a nearby graveyard.

I was shocked and realised what I had something special in me — the superpower to guess where a person has to go next.
