QUETTA: The Balochistan chapter of Pakistan Chest Society (PCS) on Friday organised awareness walks, sem­i­nars and lectures across the province in connection with World Asthma Day.

The events were organised at Fatima Jinnah Institute of Chest Diseases, Sheikh Zayed Hospital and various district headquarters health units.

Experts at these programmes discussed asthma symptoms, disease, causes, diagnosis, prevention and treatment.

Awareness walks, seminars and lectures were attended by doctors, paramedical staff and people.

PCS-Balochistan president Dr Maqbool Langau and general secretary Dr Mahmood Ahmad Shahwani thanked all the stakeholders for organising the events across the province. They reiterated their commitment that the society would continue to provide better health facilities to the people of Balochistan.
