SWABI: The residents of Shahmansoor Township here on Friday complained that they suffered long power suspension on Thursday night, causing them trouble in the hot weather.

Talking to mediapersons, they said that power supply was suspended from 8pm to 9pm and later at midnight till 7am, leaving the people at the mercy of mosquitoes.

They said that Peshawar Electric Supply Company officials told them that one of the two feeders of the township had gone out of order, which would be repaired as soon as possible.

The residents threatened to stage a protest demonstration if the faulty feeder was not repaired immediately.
