KARACHI: A PTI lawmaker has threatened to carry out a suicide attack if even a hair on party chief Imran Khan’s head comes to harm.

The threat was made by PTI MNA Attaullah in a video shared widely on social media on Monday.

“If a single hair on Imran Khan’s head is harmed, those running the country be warned: Neither you nor your children will remain. I will be the first to carry out a suicide attack on you, I will not let you go. In the same way, thousands of workers are ready,” Attaullah said in the video.

Mr Attaullah has a chequered history; he was one of two PTI lawmakers booked over the storming of Sindh House in the run up to the vote of no confidence against Imran Khan earlier this year.

He was also one of the men who recorded a conversation with Yusuf Raza Gilani’s son where the latter was purportedly explaining how to waste their votes ahead of the Senate elections.

He is not the only PTI leader to make such a ‘threat’; former minister Sheheryar Afridi also got carried away and made a similar threat while addressing a public meeting in his native Pashto.
