PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Election Commissioner Mohammad Fareed Afridi on Friday said preliminary voter lists had been displayed at over 3,000 display centres across the province.

Speaking at a press conference at the ECP’s regional office, he said people could submit objections to the voter lists to help prepare flawless final lists.

He said the ECP had also deputed an official at each centre as display-in-charge to facilitate the people.

Mr Afridi said display centres had been established at government schools, where citizens could easily examine the lists. He urged the people to fill the relevant form and submit with the in-charge of display centres if their names were missing in the preliminary voter lists. The provincial election commissioner said the number of voters in KP had reached to 20.9 million.
