RAWALPINDI: Police have solved the murder of an ex-armyman and found his wife and her two sons allegedly involved in the murder.

After killing the victim, they threw his body in a nearby ground in Morgah on Thursday.

Police said the family servant was also involved in the murder.

Mohammad Amin’s wife and son, Asad, have been detained, while police are looking for the other suspects.

Omer Farooq, brother of the deceased, in his FIR said Mohammad Amin, who had retired from the army and was residing with his family in Morgah, had come to his native town Jhelum for his deceased mother’s prayers and informed him about his wife’s alleged relations with one of the house servants.

He said after his brother left for Morgah, Amin called him to inform that when he reached home, his wife and son Asad started quarreling with him.

He further said in the FIR that later he received a call on Thursday that his brother’s body was lying in a pool of blood close to his van in ARL ground.

“His body had a wound inflicted with a blunt weapon,” he added.

He said after receiving information, he and his son Kashif and others reached ARL ground at 8pm and found his Amin’s body.

He said he believed that his brother’s wife and sons as well as some other persons had murdered his brother.

According to a police spokesman, a police team promptly solved the mystery of the murder and found the victim’s wife and two sons to be the killers. Police raids are underway to arrest the other son and the house servant.

Meanwhile, a 45-year-old man was murdered in Afshan Colony, the Race Course area on Thursday.

Jahanzeb Gul, brother of the victim Hameed Gul, complained to the police that his brother was stabbed to death by a man who was seen by his sister while leaving the house of the victim.

He further said that as his sister entered her brother’s house, she found him lying in the pool of blood and saw an individual hurriedly leaving the house. She tried to chase him but he managed to escape.

He said his brother Hameed Gul had no enmity with anybody; however, he suspected that this was the same individual who had visited his brother’s house last night.
