KARACHI: In a tribute to those military personnel who laid down their lives for the defence of their country, a chain of laboratories and diagnostic centres has decided to rename its facilities in honour of the fallen recipients of the Nishan-i-Haider.

At a press conference at the Karachi Press Club on Tuesday, Dr. Essa Laboratory & Diagnostic Center CEO Prof. Dr. Farhan Essa Abdullah said they were attributing important branches of their centres in different cities of Pakistan to those brave soldiers who set an everlasting example of bravery and received the highest honor of the army.

The event was also attended by former servicemen, including former Sindh governor Moinuddin Haider.
