KARACHI: Following the discovery of hydrocarbons at its Bannu West-1 well in the Bannu West Block located in North Waziristan reported on June 1, Mari Petroleum Company Ltd told shareholders on Monday that the result is expected to improve to 50 million cubic feet per day (mmcfd) post-acid well test.

The company is the operator of the block with a 55 per cent shareholding while OGDCL and ZPCL have 35pc and 10pc stakes, respectively.
