KARACHI: Ismat Siddiqui, the mother of Dr Aafia Siddiqui who is languishing in a US prison, died on Saturday. She was 80.
A spokesperson for the Aafia Movement Pakistan, Mohammed Ayub, told Dawn that she was suffering from kidney and breathing problems. Her funeral prayers were offered at a local mosque in Gulshan-i-Iqbal.
