TAXILA: Two persons were killed while another was injured in separate incidents in Attock on Wednesday.

In the first incident, a cattle trader was killed when a pick-up overturned near Nikka Afghan in the limits of Injra police station.

The cattle dealer Nasarullah died on the spot while two cattle also perished in the incident.

In the second incident, a man died when a speeding car hit him on G.T. Road in the limits of Hassanabdal police station.

Moreover, a jeweller shot and injured a man over a monetary dispute in a jewelry market in the limits of Attock city police station.

Akmal reported to police that he went to sell silver at a local market where Zahoor shot and injured him and fled away successfully.

Respective police have registered separate cases and started further investigation.

Citizens deprived of cash, valuables

Robbers deprived residents of Wah of cash and valuables worth millions of rupees.

Three armed men entered a house in Awan Chowk area in the limits of Wah Cantonment police station on Wednesday.

Beenish reported to police that she along with other family members of the house were sleeping in her house when three armed men entered the house after scaling the wall and took them at gunpoint.

Later, they fled with cash, gold ornaments worth Rs500,000 and a motorcycle.

In the second robbery, a petrol pump owner was robbed of Rs1.2 million.

According to details, he was going to deposit the amount in a bank when four armed men came in a car and snatched the money and fled.

In the third incident, four masked men equipped with weapons came to cash and carry of Khaild Nadeem and at gunpoint deprived him cash, motorcycle, mobile and other valuables worth Rs600,000 and fled.

Respective police have registered separate cases and started further investigation.
