KARACHI: The Gymkhana race meeting which was scheduled to take place here at the Karachi Racecourse on Saturday, has been cancelled owing to the ongoing heavy rains in the city, a spokesman of the Karachi Race Club (KRC) told Dawn on Friday evening.
Earlier, despite heavy rainfall the KRC had issued a four-race card for the meeting and had deputed labourers to drain out rainwater and clear the track.
According to the spokesman, the next meeting will be held on July 17.
