To fail does not mean to fall

This is regarding the article “To fail does not mean to fall” by Fatima Bintay Salman (YW, June 11). The article had a meaningful message that failures are part of life, so embracing them with an open heart paves the way for a successful tomorrow. We learn from our mistakes and start again.

Failure teaches us to learn from our mistakes and avoid the same mistakes in the future. Only one thing makes a dream impossible to achieve — the fear of failure.

Book reviews

This is with reference to the book reviews published in the Young World. I want to draw the attention of the writer towards the need to provide the complete information about the book being reviewed.

The review develops our interest in reading the book, but lack of information about where the book is available makes it difficult to get the book. I request the YW team that this information to be included with book reviews.

The lost wallet

This is with reference to the story, “The lost wallet” by Aliza Hameed (YW, June 18). The story was impressive and contained a very serious message that we should always be honest and helpful to others — not just for the sake of humanity, but for our inner satisfaction.

We must fulfil our desires in the right ways and never opt for illegal means, because success lies in following the right path.

II

“The lost wallet” by Aliza Hameed shows that honesty is very important. Honesty paves right the path for a successful life. We must stop ourselves from doing any wrong and not take advantage of others’ weaknesses for our benefit. Being honest not only gives you self-satisfaction but you also gain others’ confidence.

Live everyday

This is with reference to the article “Live everyday” by Ayesha Randhawa (YW June 25). It’s absolutely right that every new day brings with it uncountable blessings for us. New things come in our life, we get new experiences and a lot of new stuff of other kinds.

But every day brings good as well as bad things. So we should always count the blessings we have and cherish each moment. Also, we need to be confident and courageous to stand against all odds and make every moment worth living.
