NEW YORK, Dec 14: Expressing appreciation of Pakistan government’s efforts in dealing with terrorists, the White House said on Wednesday that the United States is getting ‘good cooperation’ from Islamabad.

“President Musharraf and his government are dealing with those terrorists. They’re going after those terrorists,” said White House spokesman Scott McClellan while answering a question from an Indian journalist about the concerns expressed by the prime minister and defence minister of India.

“We appreciate the job that they’re doing. There’s more that we can always be doing, and we’ll continue working with them,” Mr McClellan said.

“We have good cooperation with the government of Pakistan. We’ll continue to work with them to go after the terrorists that are in Pakistan and …. along that border region between Pakistan and Afghanistan,” he added.
