A special Father’s Day

This is regarding the story “A special Father’s Day” by Memoona Mukhtar (YW, June 18). Parents work really hard to fulfil the needs and desires of their kids. Both mother and father put all their energies and love in making the lives of their kids as comfortable as possible, because all they want is the happiness of their children.

Parents are a great blessing of God. We should be thankful for having them in our lives.

My first pet

This is with reference to the story “My first pet” by Saleha Rizwan (YW, July 16). The story was very interesting as it narrated the experience of the writer of keeping a pet and how it changed her perspective about life and animals.

No doubt, keeping a pet not only brings out the loving and caring human in all of us, but it also makes us love these creatures more. Having respect for animals makes us better human beings.

An amazing gift

This is regarding the story “An amazing gift” by Huda Ilyas (YW, July 9). The real message of Eidul Azha is not just to sacrifice animals, but to share our good fortunes with others and bring smiles on the faces of the underprivileged people.

Also, sacrificing animals doesn’t mean how many animals you have chosen to sacrifice on Eid, but it is all about your intention and the deed.

The perks of planning

This is with reference to the cover article “The perks of planning” by Zara Naz (YW, July 2).

I would like to thank the writer for her proactive and motivating article which gave the outlines of planning for one’s future. I agree that making a daily routine and timetable gives you fruitful results. Basically, planning ahead in life gives one a proper direction to move in and also saves time.

I really appreciate Zara Naz for writing an amazing article “The perks of planning”. The article discusses useful and easy methods to create a smart plan for future goals, no matter how big or small they are. A goal without a plan is just a wish which may never take on a physical form. Therefore, to be successful, you have to set your own strategy based on your energies; but once you make it, stand by it until you reach your destination.
