Jobs’ Apple-1 computer prototype auctioned for nearly $700K

An authenticated Apple-1 Computer prototype from the mid-1970s has sold at auction for nearly $700,000.

It was used by Apple co-founder Steve Jobs in 1976 to demonstrate the Apple-1 to Paul Terrell, owner of The Byte Shop in Mountain View, California, one of the first personal computer stores in the world, Boston-based RR Auction said in a statement.

A Bay Area collector who wishes to remain anonymous made the winning $677,196 bid.

“There is no Apple-1 without this board — it’s the holy grail of Steve Jobs and Apple memorabilia,” said Bobby Livingston, RR’s executive vice president.

The board has been matched to Polaroid photographs taken by Terrell in 1976, showing the prototype in use. It was also examined and authenticated by Apple-1 expert Corey Cohen.

It resided on the Apple garage property for many years before being given by Jobs to the seller about 30 years ago.

An action-packed trailer has already released and now a brand-new poster for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse is here.

Executive Producer Chris Miller took to Twitter to unveil the poster. It features Miles Morales taking on Spider-Man 2099 with a very different artistic style, where they go on a multiversal journey and battle each other. The two Spider-Men look absolutely fantastic on the poster and it should definitely hype up fans that want to see the film as soon as possible. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will be in theatres on June 2, 2023.

New movie about Bigfoot

During an appearance at the Sarajevo Film Festival, famous actor Jesse Eisenberg revealed he’s playing the most popular cryptid in all of the land — Bigfoot.

Not only is he playing the fabled Sasquatch, but Eisenberg will be dressed in a practical suit and won’t have a single line in the entire movie, an upcoming feature from the Zellner Brothers.

At the same event, the actor said, “To me, it was not playing a role that I’d envisioned since childhood. To me, it was a chance to play this great character that this great writer wrote, and I loved doing that,” he said.
