Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, Gunn updates with new soundtrack

After a rollercoaster of a handful of years in development, James Gunn is finally bringing his long-awaited Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 to the big screen next summer. The film, which will conclude the story of this iteration of the team, will once again feature one of the most iconic elements of the previous two films: a soundtrack from Star-Lord’s playlist.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 ended with Kraglin (Sean Gunn) handing Peter Quill/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt) a Zune, which contained significantly more songs than what his mix tapes and Sony Walkman offered. The songs from the Zune will serve as the soundtrack of Vol. 3.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 will hit theatres on May 5, 2023.

Pirates of the Caribbean brings back one of original writers

Pirates of the Caribbean producer Jerry Bruckheimer says that one of the series’ original writers is coming back for the next movie.

“I am very excited, it’s going to be terrific,” Bruckheimer began. “We’re just working on the screenplay. One of the original writers, Ted Elliot, is helping write it. He has a great command of the characters.”

It’s been years since the last instalment, but audiences will hunker down for a familiar world if the story is told right. It is still not clear if the actor Johnny Depp will play his iconic role as Captain Jack in the movie or not. But, a reinvigoration might be in order after so much time has passed. So until further news, about our favourite Pirate, let’s cross our fingers and be hopeful.
