New price list issued

PESHAWAR: Deputy commissioner Shafiullah Khan on Saturday issued a new price list for different food items and warned that inspection campaigns would be intensified to arrest the profiteers to protect the rights of consumers.

As per the price list, the per kilogramme rate for chicken has been fixed at Rs265, potato (white) at Rs46, potato (red) Rs66, onion Rs90, tomato Rs90, green-chilli Rs240, lemon Rs220, okra (Punjab) Rs120, cucumber Rs120, garlic Rs320 and ginger Rs380.
