[News agencies add from Islamabad,] Seventy-five members of the National Assembly … made a requisition for the convening of the National Assembly as constitution-making body. The list of the 75 signatories was released … by Sardar Shaukat Hayat Khan, leader of the Council Muslim League Parliamentary group… . The list comprises 36 members belonging to Pakistan People’s Party, and the rest from other parties. Three members of the Qayyum Muslim League have also signed the requisition. Sardar Shaukat Hayat Khan, who released copies of the signed requisition to the Press, told Pressmen that it was a non-party matter, and did not contravene party discipline. … The members … wanted to bring amendment in Article 75, Clause 3, regarding the privileges of the members. …
