We are living in the silicon age and, in my opinion, we are a super lazy generation. We love to put off everything for tomorrow, what we can do today. In our daily life, we are mostly spending our valuable time on social media apps or watching a series on Netflix and more stuff like that. And these things usually take up most of our time.

And I have noticed that in between this, if we get even some simple tasks that need to be done, such as cleaning up our room or closet, we feel too lazy to do that and often put it off for tomorrow.

The icing on the cake is that we don’t even bother to think, “Why not now?” We want everything done easily without any effort. We have decided on our goals, but we are not making much effort to work for them in order to achieve them.

Success does not come without effort and hard work! If you want a change in your life or lifestyle, you need to start working on it from now.

Apart from that, have you ever noticed that once we have made a mistake and we are feeling guilty on the inside and want to apologise, our ego keeps telling us to do it tomorrow or any other day. Why do we wait for tomorrow when we can do it at that very moment? It is always a positive thing to apologise and revive your relationships with your loved ones, be it your family, friends or relatives.

There’s nothing wrong and there shouldn’t be any embarrassment in accepting your mistake and moving on. It will, in fact, lift a huge weight from your head and conscience, and you will feel so much better.

This is life and we need to accept the fact that we never know when we are going to die, at what age and at what time. Will we be alive tomorrow? We don’t know.

Do everything that makes you happy, do the little things that make others smile, which can make your day and be kind to everyone not because it will come back in an unexpected way, but because of who you are. In a world where you can be anything, be kind, be a little extra nice.

If you want to learn a new skill, start doing it right now, be it by playing a musical instrument or by writing stories, or it can be working out, a new hobby, eating your favourite food, travelling to your favourite place, being with someone who makes you laugh a little harder, paint like you are Pablo Picasso, sketch your heart out, write poetries you love or come up with your own, sing if you like it, and dance like there’s no tomorrow.

Love yourself, love animals, love people, watch sunsets, stare at the sky, breathe in fresh air, go for walks, smell fresh flowers and realise that life has got tonnes of beautiful things that you normally don’t notice. If not now, then when?

Life is fragile, life is short, life is complicated, life isn’t simple, and is a complete roller coaster of incalculable emotion and feelings.

Remember, it is never too late to be what you might have been, all you have is now!
