ISLAMABAD: A director of Safe City Islamabad committed suicide by hanging himself on Saturday due to some issues associated with his job, police said.

The victim was identified as Abdul Qadeer, 41, director system at the Safe City.

His family found him hanged with a ceiling fan of his bedroom, the police said, adding that after getting the information the police reached his house at Margalla Town and shifted the body to hospital for medico-legal.

According to his wife, he was in distress due to some issues with his job, they said, adding that last night he took his dinner and later went to his bedroom.

His parent department was National Telecommunication Cooperation from where he joined to Safe City Islamabad on deputation two years ago, they added.
