TAFTAN: Iran reopened the Taftan border with Pakistan on Monday after the closure of two days.

According to official sources, the Iranian authotities had on Saturday closed the trade and traveling corridors and stopped the immigration and customs clearance via Mir Javeh, a town near the Pak-Iran border on the Iranian side.

The immigration and customs clearance was reopened on Monday and more than 1000 people waiting at the Iranian side were allowed to return to Pakistan while more than 600 people left for Iran, the sources said.
