PESHAWAR: Bodies of a woman and her two daughters were recovered from a house in the city’s Hayatabad area on Friday after their relative claimed that the woman shot her daughters dead and committed suicide, police said.

The incident was reported in the limits of Tatara police station where a local identified as Allauddin informed the police that the deceased were his niece and her two daughters.

He claimed that his niece along with her daughters had visited his house demanding her share in inheritance and during verbal exchange his niece shot her both daughters dead and then committed suicide.

The police identified the woman as Ambar Nasir and her daughters as Eshan and Maira.

A police spokesperson said that police had started investigations and questioning the complainant and other relatives about the incident.
