KARACHI: The second partial solar eclipse of this year will be on Oct 25. It can be seen in most areas of the country including Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar and Quetta, the Met department stated on Saturday.
It will also be visible from most of Europe, Northern Africa, the Middle East and Western parts of Asia.
In Pakistan, the partial eclipse begins at 1:58pm and ends at 6.02pm with the greatest eclipse occurring at 4pm.
The year 2022 has four eclipses; partial solar eclipse on April 30, complete lunar eclipse on May 15-16, partial solar eclipse on Oct 25 and partial lunar eclipse on Nov 25.
