LAHORE: Around 500 Sikh pilgrims from India will arrive in Pakistan via Wagah on Friday (today) to participate in the celebrations of Saka Panja Sahib.

According to the Evacuee Trust Property Board, the senior officials of the board and members of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee will receive the pilgrims at the Wagah border.

The main ceremony of Sa Ka will be held at Hasanabdal on Oct 30.

According to the schedule, pilgrims will enter Pakistan via Wagah at 11am. After having refreshments at Wagah, they will depart for Panja Sahib, Hasanabdal. On Oct 30, they will arrive at Nankana Saheb where they will stay overnight. On Nov 1, they will arrive in Lahore and visit Gurdwara Dera Sahib. The next day, they will return to India via Wagah.

RAIL: A Railways team on Thursday inspected several stalls at Lahore railway station and imposed a fine on 10 vendors for selling substandard food items.
