LAHORE: Lahore Division with 5183 points won the 73rd Punjab Games trophy, Faisalabad Division bagged 4095 points to earn the second spot while Bahawalpur (3522) claimed the third position as the four-day provincial gala ended here on Thursday.

Sahiwal (2198), Sargodha (1817), Rawalpindi (1806), Gujranwala (941), Multan (883), Gujrat (874) and Dera Ghazi Khan (521) claimed the other positions.

In the baseball final staged at PU New Campus ground, Faisalabad outplayed Multan 14-0. The bronze medal went to Sahiwal which stunned Lahore 16-6.

Meanwhile, Faisalabad toppled Sahiwal 25-15, 25-15, 25-18 in the volleyball final at the NPSC Gymnasium Hall.

Secretary Sports and Youth Affairs Punjab Ehsan Bhutta and Director General Sports Punjab Mohammad Tariq Qureshi were the guests of honour and awarded the trophies.
