RAWALPINDI: Raja Arshad, who was sentenced to life imprisonment in the Barrister Fahad murder case and languishing in Adiala jail, was shifted to Karachi amid tight security after being handed over to the Sindh Police.

According to Sindh police, a case has been registered against Raja Arshad in Bahadurabad police station on charges of fraud and check dishonor.

Following orders of Chief Commissioner and District Magistrate Islamabad, the Superintendent of Jail Adiala Rawalpindi Ejaz Asghar handed over the prisoner to Sindh police.

According to jail authorities, the convict was shifted to Karachi for the investigation of cases registered against him and he will be brought back after the completion of the investigation process.
