PTI chairman Imran Khan has said that he was waiting for former premier Nawaz Sharif to return to Pakistan, warning that once the PML-N supremo arrives in the country, he won’t be able to return.

“No matter what they are telling you, Pakistan has not given you an NRO,” he said in an address in Gujranwala.

“I am seeing an aware and alive nation which is waiting for you and after this, you won’t be able to go back. You will only be able to return on one condition, return the country’s money you looted through corruption.”

Imran also called on the institutions to stand with the nation, instead of “watching the country being looted”.
