SWABI: A man along with a relative was allegedly killed by his rivals after he obtained the bail before arrest (BBA) from a local court in a murder case on Monday, district police officer Mohammad Shoaib Khan and Rescue 1122 officials said.

They said that Said Amin of Yar Hussain village along with his relative, Ibrar Hussain of Hamza Dher village, was waiting for a vehicle at the Gohati bus stop on Swabi-Mardan Road when his rivals appeared on the scene and shot both of them dead.

Deceased Amin had allegedly killed Ali Zar Khan and Fazal Khan of Yar Hussain village a few days ago over an old enmity.

An FIR has been registered against the suspects, namely Taufiq Khan, Waqif Khan and Ahmad Hussain of Yar Hussain, in the Swabi city police station.

Also in the day, five people were injured when a rickshaw and a passenger coach collided at Shahmansoor Township bus stop.

The injured were taken to Bacha Khan Hospital Complex, Shahmansoor. Of the injured, Abid Hussain, 22, and Saud Khan, 18, were stated to be in critical condition.
