LAHORE: Punjab Daanish Schools and Centres of Excellence Authority (PDSCEA) on Tuesday approved Rs375 million operational and Rs150m development budget 2022-23, respectively.

Authority Vice Chairperson Sumera Ahmad presided over the 35th meeting held at its headquarters.

Other members of the authority MPA Khadija Umer, retired Maj Abdul Rehman Rana and representatives of the chief secretary, school education and finance departments and senior member board of revenue were also present.

The meeting reviewed the completed and under-construction projects and expressed satisfaction over excellent results of matric and intermediate.

The vice chairperson directed the administration to complete the Daanish schools at Mankerah, Taunsa and centres of excellence at Pirmahal and Chakwal.

The members unanimously passed Rs425m operational and development budget for the year 2022-23.
