KARACHI: Another abandoned British-era building collapsed in the old city area on Saturday causing damages to some property, but no one was hurt in the incident, police said.

Earlier, an abandoned British-era building had collapsed in Ranchore Line but no one was hurt.

Official said that the dilapidated building that housed the City Boys Secondary School was located on Serai Road, Lahori Sharbat Gali in Mithadar.

Mithadar SHO Shahzad Ilyas said that parts of the three-storey building having shops on the ground floor fell on the main road and damaged many motorcycles parked outside.

He said that the building was empty and it had been declared ‘dangerous’ by authorities concerned.
