TOBA TEK SINGH: Moving in Faisalabad division for the last two days, PTI march led by Secretary General Asad Umar was received by party supporters when it reached motorway’s Shorkot interchange.

He was taken to Shorkot city where he delivered a brief speech and urged people to be ready to join the long march on Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

He later led the march procession from Shorkot to Garh Maharaja and shrine of Hazrat Sultan Bahu where he offered prayers.

In his speech to participants in the march, he said there was no rule of law in the country for the last seven months.

He said Imran Khan was removed from power under a regime-change conspiracy. He said consultations were being made regarding national issues with those who had absconded abroad after looting the national exchequer.

Commenting on next army chief’s appointment, he claimed Imran Khan did not want a COAS of his choice but on merit.

He paid tribute to the voters of Jhang who had voted for PTI candidates in last two by- elections of the Punjab Assembly.

PTI MNAs from Shorkot Sahibzada Ameer Sultan and Sahibzada Mahboob Sultan and MPAs Rana Shahbaz Ahmad and Asif Kathia also accompanied the march.

Addressing a public meeting at Jhang’s Church ground, Asad Umar said Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan had fallen sick due to the fear and shock of restart and success of the PTI long march.

Meanwhile, a press release issued by Faisalabad CPO’s spokesperson said more than 3500 policemen had been deputed for the security of long march led by Asad Umar.

The march will reach Faisalabad on Sunday.
