LAHORE: The five-team Engro Central Asian Volleyball Championship is set to be held here at the Nishtar Sports Complex from Nov 24, the Pakistan Volleyball Federation announced on Friday.
Pakistan will host world number eight Iran, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan in the five-day event.
The participating teams will compete on a single league basis with the top two sides qualifying for the Nov 29 final.
Pakistan are ranked 12th in the world while they boast the seventh place in the Asia and Oceania zone. The national side is aiming to be the top side in Asia in two years time and qualify for the 2028 Olympics.
