DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The police on Sunday found the body a seven-year old boy with his throat slit in Fateh Morr area of Paroa tehsil five days after he went missing from his house.

The victim, namely Hassan, had gone missing on Nov 15.

His family kept searching for him, and informed the university police station after failing to trace him.

Father of the missing boy had nominated his relative, Kamil Mehsud Khan, of the same area for abducting his son.

After report of the abduction case, regional police officer Mohammad Saleem Khan and district police officer Mohammad Shoaib had formed teams led by SP investigations Shabbir Hussain and DSP Paroa circle Abid Iqbal to locate the boy and arrest the suspect.

The police have also arrested the alleged killer, who is stated to be a close relative and neighbour of the slain boy.
